Hedge Planting with Oak Tree Farm Rural Project

Members of the churchyard maintenance team were joined today by churchwarden Elizabeth Jarrett and friends from the Oak Tree Farm Rural Project to help clear some ground around our new shed, plant wild flower seeds and a new hedge. The 120 hawthorn whips were provided by the Woodland Trust along with Holly saplings. This is part of our project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The team was supported by a volunteer who is doing their Duke of Edinburgh Award. Thanks to everyone for their help.
