Our Heritage Open Days are great events and an opportunity to see our newly conserved heritage items in the church. If you have been before, come and see the remarkable transformation done by our conservators.
This year we have a lunchtime organ recital from 12.45 – 1.30pm to showcase how music has changed over time. Mark Goodhew, organist at Stoke Minister and Musical Director of Moorlands Voices, will play organ music over the last 1000 years, from Veni Creator Spiritus in 900AD to Veni Creator Spiritus in 2010AD, with Bach, Pachelbel, Handel, Massenet and Dubois.
There will be family crafts and guided tours throughout the day. Our famous cake and tea/coffee stand will also be available.
